Done Traveling....

Well I am done traveling for quite awhile it seems... I had enough of Kansas and everywhere else to last me now for awhile. I went to another arcade game auction yesterday... but thankfully to everyone that always has something negative to say about my games... I didnt buy anything...

Nothing else really exciting going on.... I been playing poker online alot... and got my new DVR and High Def for my tube.. so thats been exciting!! Thats all... Check ya later...

Been Too Long

Wow. Been a little while since I wrote here. Some things have been happening around here and I been gone so haven't wrote anything. I went to Kansas to see Amy, Mike, Jacob, Faith, Hope, Shelby, Jeanne, Jordan and Kevin... Gosh that was a mouthful.... Well... That for sure was an experience. Those kids are nuts.... but hey they are just kids.. and we all know Amy is just as bad. But hey shes my cuz so I gotta love her anyways...despite her being nuts.... (i would say on crack... but don't want her to think i really mean it)....

I saw Shelby too... and was great to see her and all her family too... We went swimming to the movies... and even babysat them wacko kids. Amy and Mike have to have some good stuff to be able to handle them all the time. I spent 7 days there. We went to a Tbones baseball game and of course I got to watch "Le Tour de France" the whole time i was there as well... That goes on to my next latest fetish....

The Tour de France... or as I call it... Tour de Lance... I have been watching it with a passion the last 3 weeks. Its so interesting to watch the strategy and challenges that come with riding a bike across France... and some of Spain too.... (you would know that if you watched it)... Tomorrow is the last day of the 3 week long trek... (Trek is the manufacturer of Lance's bike) They ride into Paris and the Champs-Elysees. Looks like Lance will win yet another Tour.

Today I finally got a Digital Video Recorder and a few High Definition Program channels. So now I can record all kinds of channels whenever I want... At least it will give me something to keep me occupied. Well thats all for today....

New Update

Hello kiddos! Sorry its been awhile since the latest update. Thanks to a call from Sister... I nowremember to update this!! Not too much excitement going on around here... Just been working alot and resting on the weekends!! I went with Scott and saw Star Wars Episode III again in the theater. Gosh it was just as good the 2nd time.

Another movie/comedy Scott and I watched here last weekend was the Chappelle Show on DVD... Its quite bad and rough humor, but we laughed hysterically watching it. Thats about all the excitement around here.. Hope all is doing well!! TA TA FOR NOW!!

Star Wars

Well, as you probably know Star Wars came out on Thursday. I waited in line about 6 hours and saw it at midnight. It was totally awesome. It tied and filled in so many loose ends and saw Anakin's turn to the dark side and become Darth Vader. It was fun to be in line with all the Star Wars fans and the some of the local fan club here Nashville After Darth.

The movie met all my expectations, such that I went again today with Scott. Scott went with me at midnight too on Thursday (after he finally showed up).... The long last 2 weeks have taken a toll on my physically, as I got a nasty cold. It seems to be lightening up some finally.

More Florida Info

Was fun being with all the family... The little kiddos are even fun to be around. I went to all the great places. We went to Chef Mickeys and got to see MickeyMouse and Minnie Mouse. Also, saw Chip N Dale and Goofy and Donald Duck there. Had a great meal including some good potatoes. We had a great time there... I even ate some from the kids buffet there. On Monday we went to Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios. I dared it and went on some roller coasters. I was worried that it might affect my heart... And it did some.. I had a few chest pains and light headedness, but I was ok. I just kept on trucking. We went to all the rest of the park and had a great time. Tuesday we went to Magic Kingdom... It was really fun there as well. We got to ride Space Mountain and the train around the park and evensaw a parade. And we saw some fireworks too. It was really hot...but I drank lots of lemonade to keep myself hydrated.

Wednesday We went to Animal Kingdom and got to see bunches of animals and stuff. It was a fun day. Thursday we went to MGM Studios and got to do tons of cool stuff...They even had a Star Wars ride and a Star Wars Store... I bought lots of cool stuff at the Star Wars store. it was yet another fun day!!! Friday we went to Universal Studios. I had been there before but theyhad a few new things since I was last there. It was so awesome. by far the best park and I even rode the Mummy Ride 4 times.Then on Saturday we got Amy and the girls and they went to Universal with us again!!! and I rode the Mummy again!!! Was a blast...And of course we swam in the evenings and went to some gift shops and ate alot of food!!! and i pooped and peed when I needed to... We also got to see princesses at princess dinners and breakfasts.... so lotsof fun ... I think Faith really had a great time... and Hopey had agreat time jumping on me like her trampoline!!!

Back from Florida

Hello. Today its Hump Day Wednesday! Ill be glad when this week is over. Its the last week of the month and work is going bonkers!! Im up to my @#@ in jerseys and baseballs. We had a signing with Bo Jackson last week and his stuff is all over too!! I get a little vacation this weekend getting to go to Jenny and Travis' and hang... Going to play some cards and see my first Nascar Race so should be exciting. According to Jenny the weather is going to be good so I cant be more excited! Then the next weekend I fly to DisneyWorld!! So lots of excitement coming up! And hey- Im going to a free dinner tonite with Dad and Scott to Dad's Neighbors so fun fun fun!!! Well ta-ta for now!

New Pope day

Its with sadness that they have elected a new pope... My hopes of becoming the next pope are officially over. I appreciate all that supporting me through my opportunity to be pope. Thanks

Hello again. Its been a little while since writing. Not too much to report. My allergies have been driving me nuts lately, but besides that--- nothing else to exciting. Just trying to get the house in order, get plans together for the trip to Florida and Alabama coming up.

Terrific Tuesday

Well, its another day. Illinois choked down the stretch and North Carolina won the National Championship. It was funny talking to Travis during the game... his satellite has a 3 second delay... so I had to wait to yell or scream at the TV so not to ruin it for him. I finally got my car back this morning from Dad. It was getting serviced and finally got the thing fixed right, so I can drive it again now. Thanks to Dad and Dad-in-law Herb for going to get it for me yesterday. Not much other excitement --- see you on the next post

Sunday is Funday

Trying to get stuff unpacked still. There is lots and lots to do, so I'm just taking my time. Of course, I watched the Nascar Race all afternoon today. Its tough seeing all of Jeanette's clothes, but I have to sift through those to find my own too. Not sure what Im going to do for dinner tonite. I might just make an omelette. You can't go wrong with that. Dad came out to drop a few items off and fixed the bed too.

Poker Time

Greetings. I just got home from a late night of poker. I went with my nephew Sal and father-in-law Herb. We grilled some pork steaks out and fried some fish/hushpuppies/ and potatoes. Fresh fish is great, especially fresh caught out of the pond. It was an interesting poker night. I lost a few bucks until the last hand and hit 2 pair to win $12... Playing quarter poker... thats fairly hard to do. We dont play for the money, just for the fun and company. Its late now, so Im going to retire to the bed. Take care

First day on the BLOG!!!

Well, Welcome... This is the first day of my new blog. Things sure have been quite hectic and tough lately. Many family and friends have sent many prayers and well wishes to me and my family. Its help me so much to deal and cope with this extremely difficult time. I have tried to carry on the best I can. Its not easy, but time heals all wounds, at least thats how the saying is I think. Will see if thats the case.
